Maxine Littlejohn Shinall, 82, was called to her Heavenly home from Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Born August 20, 1936 in Pontotoc County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Walker Littlejohn and the late Beulah Williams Littlejohn. She was a 1955 graduate of Eupora High School, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked for 22years at Glenn Slacks, and most recently for Franklin Corp, where she retired after many years. On April 1, 1956, she married Charles Edward Shinall, and they spent 60 years together until his passing in 2016. She taught Sunday school and directed music at Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years. In her free time she loved to be working in her flower garden or playing word search. Above all, she loved her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She cherished the time spent with them. She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and her family has peace knowing that she is now home and reunited with the loved ones that have gone on before her.
