Obituary

Pontotoc---Jimmy Anderson, 62, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Born June 16, 1956 in Tupelo, he was the son of the late L.Q. Anderson and the late Omi McGregor Anderson. Jimmy attended school in Randolph, MS, and was of Baptist faith. He was employed with D.L. Ward as a frame builder. In his free time he loved to be tinkering with cars or working in his yard. He also loved anything to do with art. He spent many hours drawing and painting. He also enjoyed watching MeTV, because he said that’s where all the good shows were. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Anderson family.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later time.
He leaves behind his daughter, Christy (Talmadge) Bartlett of Pontotoc; son, Bradley Anderson (Stacie) of Houlka; grandchildren, Shaylena Anderson, Brayden Anderson, Seleana McKeever, Calrie Alexander, Ariana Alexander, Georgia Bartlett, Lexie Carraway, and Raiden Carraway; and great-grandchildren, Mason Ruth, Ky Young, and Phoenix-Jade Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Larry Anderson.
Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at pryorfuneralhome.com.
