Obituary

Arthur Curtis Williams, 86, entered into his Heavenly home from Diversicare of Eupora on Thursday, July 31, 2019. Born February 8, 1933, in Bolivar County, he was the son of the late Arthur Douglas Williams and the late Etoliah Allday Williams. Arthur attended Slate Springs High School. He worked as a contractor and built many commercial and educational buildings all around the country. He loved talking and entertaining his friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, but his memory will be cherished in their hearts forever.
Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Williams family.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Friday, August 2, 2019, at 12:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Bob Cook will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Slate Springs.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Hodge, Durwayne Hodge, Mickey Hodge, Larry Taylor, and Chris Morter.
He leaves behind his brother, Shelton Williams and wife Marilyn of Slate Springs; step-son, Bud Taylor and wife Stina of Calhoun City; step-daughter, Jean Grafe Arrington and husband Robert of Waynesboro, MS; step-granddaughter, Dottie Taylor Haynes of Coldwater; great-grandchildren, Shayne Collins of Coldwater, Tommy Grafe of SC, and Sherry Grafe of Southaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary L. Williams; brother, Boyd Williams; and two sisters, Bertha Williams Hodge and Barbara Williams Morter.
