Vardaman---Tammy Lynn Havens, 40, passed away at her home in Vardaman on November 5, 2019. Born November 5, 1979, in Grenada, she was the daughter of Bill Havens and Kim Bradley Scott. She attended Vardaman High School, and was a Supervisor employed with Pettit Farms in Houston. She was of Baptist faith, and attended New Liberty Baptist Church. Tammy Lynn was a very outgoing person with a larger than life personality. More than anything, she loved spending time with family and friends. Growing up her hobbies often included playing softball and basketball, hanging out with friends, as well as spending time on the river during family vacations. She carried a great deal of these interests into her adult life. Tammy Lynn was the type of person who was content with spending as much down time with loved ones as possible. She enjoyed cooking out, watching movies, and listening to music with family and friends. Her love for sports continued on as she was very involved with her children's sports and extracurricular activities. Tammy Lynn was known for her hard work ethic and commitment to her family and friends. She was a fighter, and battled her illness until the very end. She wanted to make it to her 40th birthday, and she did just that. November 5th will eternally be HER DAY! A sweet soul taken from us way too soon, she will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
