Samuel Douglas Lee, 47, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at home in Calhoun City. Born August 29, 1972, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Ellen Irene Lee and the late Wayne Medford Lee. He was a 1990 graduate of Calhoun City High School, and was of the Catholic Faith. He was an electrician for Weyerhaeuser for many years. Doug was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and fishing. He also loved baseball and classic cars. Above all, his family meant the most to him, along with his service dog, Pal. He leaves behind many memories for them to cherish, but they find some comfort in knowing that he is now resting in his Heavenly home.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 at 2:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Bro. Jimmy Vance will be officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Big Creek.
He leaves behind his mother, Ellen Lee of Vardaman; his son, Samuel Wayne Lee and his wife Jane Conner of Valparaiso, IN; daughter, Elizabeth Nichole Williams and her husband, Nathan of Big Creek; sister, Susan Jewel Feliciano of Calhoun City; brothers, Michael Wayne Lee of Sarasota, Fl and Kenneth John Lee of Derma; grandchildren, Gemma Williams, Dominic Williams, and Keynan “Chevy” Williams; nieces, Laura Wooten, Stephanie Grimes, Jasmin Feliciano, Samantha Norman, Ariana Feliciano, Alicia Feliciano, and Cristina Feliciano; nephews, Matthew Lee Anthony Feliciano, Timothy Feliciano, Steven Carlson, Nathaniel Feliciano, Steven Carlson, Nathaniel Feliciano, and Chris Lee.
He was preceded in death by, his dad, Wayne Lee; and his service dog, Pal.
