Deborah “Debbie” McClelland Green, 65, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Born July 5, 1955, in Avon Park, FL, she was the daughter of the late Milton McClelland and the late Lottie Joiner.
She married Bro.Howard Green in July of 1977, and they have spent 43 wonderful years together. She was a homemaker, and spent most of her time taking care of her family. A very kind and sweet lady, she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 11:00am at Pryor Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation time with the family on Saturday from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
Bro. Cody Childress and Bro. Doc Kelly will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

Pryor Funeral Home takes the health of our staff, our families, our visitors, and our community very seriously, and we are adhering to guidelines set forth by President Trump and Gov. Tate Reeves. At this time, we are asking everyone to support the limited gathering and visitation policy set by our government officials. We will be allowing small family groups and limiting the number of people in family rooms to 10 at one time at visitations, as well as funerals at the funeral home. For graveside services, we will be asking everyone to also comply with the required social distancing space of six feet. We’re also advising against hand-shaking, hugging, kissing and other intimate contact, and encourage the use of face masks.

The Green Family was such an important part of my life after moving to Mississippi. I loved attending the church with them and listening to Howard's messages. I so enjoyed the friendship I had with the entire family and loved having "family" dinners with Howard's mom and dad, sister and family.....the entire family. They had a way to make you ";part" of their family. Debbie was a special friend to me and after moving to Las Vegas I didn't keep in touch as much as I would have liked. I regret not reaching out to the entire family more than I did. Debbie sure did love she was a pastor's wife, a mom and I know she beamed when her grandkids were close by. Debbie had a way of welcoming you into her home and family and she now can enjoy resting in the arms of Jesus. Howard, Amy and Tommy......she loved you and I know you miss her so much. Prayers for you and know she is waiting for you with open arms to give you a big hug, something I remember she did so well. Glenda Schuler
