Quay Chambers Wolfe, 75, passed away at her home in Calhoun City on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born May 31, 1945, in Tallahatchie County, she was the daughter of the late Ben Chambers and the late Mary Ross Tunnell. She was a 1963 graduate of Whitehaven High School, and was a member of Calhoun City First Baptist Church. She was retired after working for over 20 years as Municipal Court Clerk in Calhoun City.
In her free time, she loved to fish and write poetry. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower garden. She loved to cook and spending time with her family, and also her neighbor and best friend, Katie Jones. A very sweet and kind woman, she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A Graveside Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 11:00am at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Calhoun City. Bro. Jimmy Vance will be officiating, with interment to follow.
She leaves behind her son, Bill Wolfe and his wife Tina of Calhoun City; brother, Baucum Chambers and his wife Karen of Tillatoba, MS; and two grandchildren, Clint Wolfe and Miranda Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Benny Chambers; and grandson, Will Gordon Wolfe.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calhoun City First Baptist Church.
