Linda Iris Winters, 72, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City on Friday, January 29, 2021. Born September 20, 1948, in Dekalb, IL, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Farthing and the late Hazel Olsen Farthing. She was retired after many years at Wal-Mart, and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She loved fishing and animals of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a very kind and generous person to everyone she met. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service for Linda will be held at a later date.
She leaves behind her sons, Jeremy Winters of Big Creek, and Jimmy Winters of Dekalb, IL; daughter, Lottie Bennett of Grenada; sisters, Joanne Lowe of Illinois and Dorothy Farthing of Lawton, OK; brother, Jim Farthing of Illinois; and grandchildren, Travis Winters, Emily Winters, Peyton White, Macy White, and Kenzie White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Farthing; and sister, Pat Stanberry.
