Obituary for Dorothy Pearl Hardin

Dorothy Pearl Harrelson Hamilton Hardin “Dot” passed away July 4, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Born September 8, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Lee Harrelson and the late Pearlie C Lowe Harrelson. She was a graduate of Derma High school, class of 1957. She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church in Slate Springs, where she was a choir member and Sunday school teacher. She was a hairstylist for 43 years and loved doing hair but more importantly, being a part of all of her customers' lives. She greeted everyone with a smile and believed in treating others the way you’d like to be treated. She will be deeply missed and remembered in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of life service will be held at Pryor Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
Danny Spratlin will be officiating with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Matt Knight, Mikie Knight, Justin Mason, Casey Henderson, Dylan Hamilton, Anderson Hamilton, Tanner Knight, and Parker Knight.
She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, TA Hamilton.
She is survived by her loving and devoted second blessing, Tony Hardin of Calhoun City; brother, Laderel Harrelson, (Tennessee); children, Selena & Michael Knight, (Bellefountaine), Andy & Sharon Hamilton (Alabama). Regina Hamilton (Oxford), Robin Hamilton (Brandon), Synta Shea Hamilton (Texas); grandchildren, Matt and Laci Knight, Mikie & Annie Knight, Kristen & Justin Mason, Dana & Casey Henderson, Dylan, Anderson, Tatyana, Lauren & Reagan Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Tanner & Parker Knight, Addison, Aubree, Ansley Mason, Jackson, Cameron, Ella Knight, Hudson & Holt Henderson.
