Obituary for Nancy Fox Doyle

Nancy Fox Doyle, 85, passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian, Allen, TX on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Born February 6, 1938, in the Pleasant Hill Community of Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Prince E Fox and wife Jimmy Raye (Mize) Fox.
She graduated from Calhoun City High School in May of 1956, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Nancy loved gardening, painting, and creating memories with her children and grandchildren as well as her beloved puppies and kitties. She was an accomplished piano player and loved to play bridge with her friends and sisters of the PEO in Saddle River, NJ.
Nancy grew up in Calhoun City and loved her schoolmates as she was a cheerleader and basketball player at Calhoun City High School. She lived a full life in TX with her children and first husband and found a way to enjoy a full life with her second husband Richard for 22 years in Saddle River, NJ. She was known there as “New Jersey Magnolia” because of her roots in Mississippi.
She was a wonderful and caring mother who always encouraged all of us to live a full life of happiness and joy. She is a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and was a beautiful example of a Christian life.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 12:30pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Vance officiating. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Richard Doyle, sister Carolyn Fox Moore and brother Jerry M Fox in addition to her parents. Also preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Sam Garrard of Winona, MS., and also her daughter-in-law, Dana Garrard.
Survived by 3 Children, Denise Garrard of Garland, TX; Beverly Garrard of Allen, TX, Trey Garrard of Franklin, TN; 3 Grandchildren Jade Elizabeth Garrard of Garland, TX; Jake & Riley Garrard of Franklin, TN; Sisters Marilyn Fox Sullivan of Atlanta, GA, Ellen Fox Crabb of Princeton, TX; sister-in-law Barbara Fox of Calhoun City, MS; several nieces & nephews that she absolutely adored as well as their children.
